better....

Firstly, thanks to all those who sent us their well wishes....Dr Thiru gave me a call yesterday about 4pm to let me know that the surgery went well and Buffy woke up from the GA looking good..bad news was its not a cyst it was a tumor..he asked me to leave her in their care for 1 night as she needed cage rest..her wound was still bleeding yest...

this AM Dr gave me a call again at around 1030am to let me know that I can bring her home but will need to continue letting her have her cage rest and that I'll need to bring her in again on Friday to change her dressing....when I went there..I was ecstatic to see buffy in her cage..she did look miserable though...maybe she thought I had abandoned her...anyway Dr Thiru mentioned again that it was a tumor so I asked if Buffy needs to go for any tests to see if it was cancerous..Dr said not necessary since the end result was the same - surgical removal of the tumor..

Well, before I went to fetch her. I had cleaned the enclosure with dettol to disinfect and also lined fresh papers etc..here's some of her pictures..she was not feeling comfortable and wanted to walk around..finally relenting...

Being the active dog that she is I think this is a real bad time for her as she can't move around...oh well..medication for the next 10 days, another visit or 2 to Dr Thiru and I pray that the tumor will not grow again..

Worried....

yep...after 4 long years...we've finally decided to send Buffy to the vet to get her cyst removed. Just got back after dropping her off at the vet and Dr Thiru, as always was very friendly and comforting...though..he did mention the difficulty of removing the cyst..it was part of her tissue and if it grows it will sit on her nerves and blood vessels...also this is the dangerous part of the surgery..I have faith in his experiences but with every surgery comes a degree of risk...I will pray that Dr Thiru's call this PM will relay good news that I can pick her up tonight and that the surgery went well....

Buffy was really scared this morning..I think she knows that she was going out for some reason when Roxy did not tag along..it made things worse with the rain this morning..she was shivering like mad....this was her this morning before going to the vet....and yeap..I'm worried too....will continue posting my US pictures once Buffy's home....

Christmas Eve....

Well, for me..I believe that a family that cooks and have fun together - stays together...today being christmas eve...I made Ami cook dinner and Mic, as always, helps out with the nitty gritty stuff here and there..well..the dinner went well...loads of food that costs S$150..hehe...

As for buffy, she had a good Christmas dinner (also thanks to Ami for cooking) and she'll be going for her surgery on Monday to remove the lump that has been growing on her hind leg...though its not harmful but it has been slowing her down and its heart-wrenching..yong and I decided to let her go for the surgery and pray that it'll be better....

ok...i wanted to give mummy a surprise by making a photobook for her as her Xmas prezzie this year...went to TommyPrint last Tuesday and started crafting the book...the stupidest thing i did was that I left my thumbdrive there!!!all the US photos were inside...and some other photos...anyway..was so lazy to post becoz i was lazy to re-upload my photos from my camera...well..i did it coz i want to post them on facebook...so here is the cover of the photobook...

Some thoughts..

Not sure if I should post this (lest others might read it)..but anyways...

Yest I went home and bumped into Mic's friends working on their blogshop...yea...4 '16' yrs old wanting to start a 'business'...nothing wrong with that...very commendable actually..I only started my Yahoo Auction booth in Poly?? so its actually very adventurous of them to start something on their own...I mean with almost every kid having their own blogshops..why not..I don't see harm in doing so...but I must warn...(mic if you read this....please please think about it)

its ok when friends come together and chit chat about clothes, makeup, boyz...but when you start a business together..don't let comments by each other or monetary issues affect your friendship..it can seriously make or break it...even sisters fight over nitty gritty stuff..lest to mention friends..my 2 cents worth of advice as a sister...

Also, next advice is..don't spend too much on the 'stocks'..I mean...its good to have stocks..but I think your 'stocks' should for the starters come without costs...things made by you or your friends, clothes, bags, shoes, makeup, accessories bought and never worn or only worn 1-2 times...these are items with no 'costs' and can result in more profits or even better - clear your clutter...treat it like a testing ground..to test the market and see what sells and what doesn't...what's other's treasures may be your rubbish (whatever the phrase is la)...when you travel for leisure than buy 'stocks' that are able to give you a better margin of sales (don't understand ask me)..things in Singapore are not really cheap nor really unique (if you can find it ppl also can ya??) so think twice...

its good to have the idea..really...but if you are pouring money into it..i just think you should think twice, thrice or even 4-5 times...if it will work...will others buy? what if no one buys?money is already a sunk cost....its never coming back..you might need to sell lesser than cost..no money made..than what??argue ma???think about all these ok michelle???love you lots!

I woke up at 7am thinking that I have a call...guess what..my invite's timing was wrong...it should be from 4pm-5pm (US timing) which is 8am-9am (my timing)..so now I'm working le lo....I dun care man..I will leave work early today for this cock-up by US..hahaha....

Realised I've been ultra forgetful recently..yesterday I was studying for my paper this sunday..than I realised that I've forgotten to prepare for 1 more qn..so today is for that qn..I will need to re-draft the whole answer..haiz..I just want to get it over and done with...my pantry auntie's eldest son just finished his master and he's gg for his doctorate..some smart ass man!!I am gg to stop at this le..no master or doctorate...part time studying is really tough..kudos to my sis, yong, prem and all those that did part time courses before...

I miss him soooo much.....

scratched the car..

ok...i went out for coffee last night with ami and mic..when I came home...i scratched the skirting of the car when I didn't do a wide enough left turn....think I was dreaming of something else..when i heard the 'ggggrrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaeeeeeee' its too late le...the body kit looked damn bad last nite..with a major dent and scratches....die le..hahaha.....but anyway KY wanna change car right? so this is another excuse for him and he can make me pay a little lo....( dun you dare! ) I know that the scratch is cnfm there...but I wasn't sure about the dent..aiya...if wanna repaint i dun mind paying the money..BUT the car was due for servicing a llllllllllllllooooooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnnggggggggggggg time and KY still never bring it in for servicing ( playing the 'blame' game! )..so I think he must be considering a new car...haha...at this point of time....are you sure?? with my driving skills??hahaha...but I am really starting to enjoy driving..ok..I might suck at it...BUT COME ON....HOW MANY TIMES DO I GET TO DRIVE A YEAR????3-4 TIMES MAX!!! SO STOP BLAMING ME HOR!!!!!!

If I had a car at most a few scratches here and there and I'll get use to it....but I only drive the bloody thing at most 5 times max...so when I get it..must drive to the max to recap what I paid over S$3500 for!!!

OK...here's the damage, this was taken with me squatting down..so it looks more obvious..when I stand up..can only see the major white scratch and not the line scratch....:

Looks like got dent??nope.its not its the design of your car mr look...and the top white line is a reflection...only 1 llllllloooooooooonnnnnnnnnngggggggggg scratch + a more obvious scratch......the rest are either reflections of design of the car...felt a little more relieved today (haha) becoz it wasn't as bad as it looks compared to last night....hohoho....an wei wo zhi zi...BUT..I AM OK and I will still drive to pick you up..if you don't see me at the airport...it could mean something else....hahaha....traffic jam la!!!

Got a msg at 830am..it was Charles asking if I want to go for breakfast....i replied him only at 930 coz I went back to sleep...met him at 10 with Ami and we went to Crystal Jade for breakfast...after that I went to Pacific Plaza to get my BW done..haha...came back to 'clean' my room and now its 225pm..supposed to study but ya..i'm blogging...haha...no mood to study...

Yep!!I did it..after class last night KY sent me home ard 10pm and he went to Areana with his frens..so I started on zhng-ing my new Samsung hp...oh..i spent $70 on the crystals and in the end i only used like 2 colors out of the 4 i bought...still have got like 6 new packets left..so greedy...haiz...

Anyway...i zhng from 10pm all the way till abt 1245am!!!then i went to bath and just collapse on my bed....now its 818am and I need to go bath and go to school but not without first posting my baby...

Yesterday & Today..

Yesterday.....freaking busy as usual...i really hate it when things go wrong and i can list all the things that went wrong...

1) work was crazy..the role i was sourcing for suddenly had a change in specs..more PR background..i was like huh??3 years experience in events, coordination, marketing and now PR?!!for that kind of pay..who want??lelong lelong... $%&#@#%! Other than this, work was pretty ok..except that I was really busy...

2) After work KY met me for dinner and we did a little shopping for the potato salad I HAVE TO MAKE FOR HIS POTLUCK GATHERING TOMORROW...went to my house for me to bath and change and we came back to his house..this is where things went REALLY wrong..i was carrying 2 NTUC plastic bags with groceries, 1 plastic bag with the aluminium tray i went to buy for the potluck and 1 paper bag with his pouch and my clothes inside..GUESS WHAT? i was trying to put the groceries on the dining table when 1 NTUC bag slipped..and GUESS WHAT AGAIN?? that bag is the one with a glass bottle of mayonnaise inside..no need guess already..yes..the glass 'picha' and that's the end of the story...where was KY? he was walking to the toilet or his room or whereever he was going la...yea..i was pissed....but auntie n uncle kept assuring me 'mei you shi la..ma ma ok le lo...'

3) After cleaning up the fiasco, I came into the room to continue my project..i bloody can't open it!!!!! ok..it was only 1 page but i had to squeeze my brain juice just to come up with that 1 page!!!! !@#%^!^#!# than my saviour came!!! * i told her i will write* michelle did some stuff at home and told me..ok la..but there's alot of nonsense at the bottom..i was like so relieved..nvm just delete...

So the day did end pretty well....

Today...
Asked boss to let me work from home today so that I can do some research and get my project going...I really need to get out of office coz once I sit down, I worked non-stop the past 3 days...so today..i'm going to do the following:

1) Work
2) Research on my project/start typing more
3) Go do my eyebrow and upper lip threading
4) Go Arab st to buy my blings for my mobile
5) Make MY potato salad
6) Go to school tonight
7) Rush home to watch nu ren bu yi zhuo last episode
8) Sleep

Yea!! Finally got my new mobile phone today..so elated but also sad to see my beloved samsung ultra slim slide phone retire..it has served me well these 2 years and it still looks very new..oh well..

Mr B offered me $60 to sell to him when I told him that M1 is only offering $50 for trade-in..hahaha..so furnie..i like ka-lang guni...then Ms D was saying 'ya ya sell lo..I also wanna get a 2nd hand camera for the elder one..' guess what?!!? i think I have a spare at home *Mic have or not??* can sell to Ms D..her daughter want to play with it..where's the sony cybershot that we passed to you??? Time to earn some money...

Anyway, another busy busy day for me today but I sneaked some time to start on my assignment..totally ORD mood already AND the assignment is not easy ok..need to do research and also need to go and find out how to do referencing as it will be graded..sian...this is my last module some more...someone or anyone help!!!!!

Anyway..I finally remembered to buy Buffy's cake 2 days ago..from Crystal Jade ok..not cheapskate one....

And...my lip balms came.....gave Ms D and Ms B one Monkey Farts each...I'm using Cosmopolitan..too affected by 'Sex & the City'...hahaha..Amy started using the free Mystery favoured lip balms..I read in Les Dames that some of the dames experienced really weird favors like buttered popcorn or something...I think I'm giving mine to my worst enemy...hohoho...or just throw it away....

Today..

Ok..today is gg to be crazy..let me start with last night...I usually sleep around 11pm or earlier every night (yes..you read correctly and I typed correctly..sometimes I even sleep at 10pm ok??) but last night was on a call from 1030 to 12midnight!!! I am so bloody tired now...

Came into office at 9am and saw that I had 20 over emails!! and I just cleared some last night...then I realise some idiot spam a Latin email to I duno how many people!!!than.....the STUPIDEST thing happened..people in our esteemed company started replying to it!!!!! and you think people in this company is smart..hah! they were going back and forth on how to decipher the language (cut n paste into words and changing the language etc etc)..

HELLO!!!! you all too free huh!?

ya..so the 1 email in Latin gave rise to 20 over emails in English...*roll eyes* cannot tahan lei....finally it ended when 1 smart guy mass emailed all telling them to stop replying saying its spam...*duh*..and he added that 1 last email.....*thank you*!!!!

anyway..its a busy weekend...class class class and more class....come to think of it..I'm all burnt out already...I just feel tired tired and very tired..can anyone give me a surprise to perk my day/weekend/month up pleaseeeeeeeeee...

random thoughts......

Ok..this post was inspired by an email I recently read and it was 'requested' by Ms D. so basically..here are some random thoughts in point form for the day......*really point form and random - not pre-crafted one hor* pls don't correct my spelling or language or grammar!



1) Legal work is REALLY boring...now I understand why Ms D you get all sorts of weird people working for you..coz only they can take it..hahhaa...and you have to use online shopping as an outlet right!??! *don't try to deny hor*



2) I always wondered why Mr C's sons are so da*n smart!! I mean, come on..which kid at 12 yrs old can remotely disconnect his father's laptop coz its dl-ing stuff that is slowing the broadband down!?!?! WTH! And which kid will tell you he's sad coz he got 92 for his exam!? PURE GENIUS!! Mr C..please let me know what you were doing when your wife conceive him or what did you eat or what you fed them!?!?! I want to try with my kids next time.....hehe



3) Saw a secondary school girl on her way to school today (in sch uniform and listening to Ipod on the bus)...than....i saw that all her 10 fingers were painted in a dark hue...OMG now kids can do that whilst still in school!?!?! oh..she also has a ear stud on the top left ear lobe...I rem the days that we were disciplined for short skirts, long fringe, colored hair, not tucking in uniform etc etc...what is the world coming to!?!?!?!?!



4) KY asked me what I was thinking when I kept quiet in the car a couple of days back..then he immediately regretted it....why are public pools designed that one end or the middle is deeper????If you watched the olympics..the pools were flat on the bottom...so why make us commoners spend more energy swimming (more resistance), waste water in filling up the pool, waste money in digging deeper and using more tiles lei??? doesn't make sense to me at all...any kind soul wanna answer...maybe Mr C son's got the answer...so smart..*if next time got daughter must marry him..son-in-law..hahaha*



5) I FORGOT BUFFY'S CAKE.......AGAIN...SHHHHHH......



6) Yesterday I thought I da*n heng..no need to call in for meeting tonight coz no invite right...than suddenly..i saw an email today...she forgot my 'existence'...meaning......I HAVE TO CALL IN LATER....sian..............cannot watch the TVB drama on CH U...heng Ms B has the dvd...woohooo!!!!



7) I spend $$$$ again...haiz..ordered F21....Ms D still got the guts to ask me wanna order ON/GAP again...HELLO Ms D...I getting pay cut soon hor! Stop asking me to order!!! oh..you know someone else asked me when ordering lei!!!hahaha *guess who??* hint: tall lady sitting near Mr C...hahahaha...



8) MacDonald dinner is here!!! but michelle wanna bath..so I continue with my thoughts...



9) Still thinking of which HP i wanna get..but must tell Ami I wanna get before I go US..coz my bloody phone always give me problem when I go overseas!!! so..i must get a new phone before Dec....*excuse only*



10) Kept reminding myself...need to get my xmas list up..and also my 'need' clothes, shoes, bags for cny...*remember, remember*

When is too much...too much?

I was really angry, upset, sad and pissed a couple days back....I think I was damn suay on that day....

In the morning..KY say that the green overalls I was wearing looks UGLY!!! AND THE COLOR WAS CHOSEN BY HIM LOR!!!!!wth right!?!?this kick-started the whole chaotic day...nonetheless I wore it out with him after ignoring him for 3-4 hours..I have to say it was a bad day for him too. He had to go without breakfast (he needs his breakfast!) until I was willing to 'cook' for him, than he kept quiet and sat in my room to watch 24 on my laptop until I said 'ok, let's go out..', the whole day see my lian se...poor KY..SORRY! I've thrown away the overall le.....

this was not the worse..I came home saw my younger sis and started lecturing her on not coming home on time that morning despite her promise..no call from her to inform anyone as well...haiz..after that my elder sis told me that that maybe I was too much and she's only 16 - needs the freedom etc etc...MY REPLY: OK WHATEVER!!!I AM NOT GOING TO BE THE ONE THAT DISCIPLINES HER ANYMORE!!!! KY got the worse end..I told him to go home!! hahaha....

haiz..when is too much discipline too much?? and when is too much freedom too much???? I don't know......so being me..I really decided not to care..coz afterall..its not my life..if I can't handle my life already..why bother about others? Bleh....call me selfish...I AM LOR! Who isn't?!!

VIRGIN POST.....

After much consideration, I've decided to be 'hip' and follow my younger sister (10 yrs younger mind you) and start my own blog...

Didn't really thought of sharing my life with EVERYONE in the entire UNIVERSE but come to think of it..there might be people out there living the same (or similar) life as me..*thinking too much*...

some stupid stuff... My close colleague and I have recently been going on and on, testing each other with words to pronounce..now she's even correcting my spelling *so free right?*...that day I sent an email to my lobby ambassador (ya..very nice designation title..i know) to request for some 'stationaries' (people please note that this is the WRONG spelling!) then she email me back saying, ' its stationeries la...lingerie'....piss right?hahaha..hao xin mei hao bao!!!!help her request and kena this kind of email back! (the 'lingerie' thing is another story...) So this is an example of the stupid things that happen in my life la..but it makes life more enjoyable...thanks to people like these..its easier to survive in a company...thanks Ms. D for making work life so much more bearable!
