Sister-ly time.

Received a call from my dear Michelle on Wednesday night after 10:30pm (I was already dozing off in bed) asking if I wanted to meet for dinner on Thursday.
I was like thinking sure, why not (than went to sleep).
I do miss the sister-ly time we had when we were all staying together.
Just do nothing but laying on the bed and chit-chatting about girl stuff.
I was thinking to myself - why the sudden call to meetup when I only met them on Tuesday?

Ami than sms-ed on Thursday if we wanted to do manicure since she had balance from her package that was signed 2-3 years back. Ok lor, why not?
I headed to trim my hair before meeting them at NYNY for dinner.
It was really so much fun.
Shall we commence to Batam for an overnight stay??
We can go shopping, eat A&W, go for massage, watch a movie and chit chat the night away or do mani and pedi!!Hahaha...

My nails from mani.
Orly salmon pink french mani.

Salon Hair.

Went to trim my hair and the results of salon hair (after washing, blowing and trimming)?

Add to it 1 night of sleep.
B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L!
Don't look like Zhen Zi alreadly hor?
It's my first time using Heavy Rotation's pot eyeliner.
I must say it's not as tough to use as I thought it would be.
Easily removed with olive oil as well =)

Velvet-y PRADA.

I headed back home to cook dinner (yes, I can hor) and to play with Prada on Tuesday.
I FINALLY MANAGED TO TAKE CLEAR, STILL PHOTOS OF HIM!
What an accomplishment!!!!
No photos of dinner but loadz of PRADA (must put trademark not?).

His fur grew so fast!
It's like velvet now and he looks kinda weird.

Chewing his bone.
Try a far away shot first than lie on the floor and take all the closeups.
Ya, I had to lie still on the floor....

He looks kinda fierce with the fur like that.
Starting to look like a teddy bear =P

13 year old?

I must say that my sisters and I are blessed with some very good genes.
We tend to look younger than we really are (in numbers).
At times, we do still find it a chore.
For instance, when we go clubbing, buy 4D, buy cigarettes etc they would ask for our I/C. =P
I learnt a lesson yesterday that I should be real appreciative that I look younger than I really am.

Was heading home after work and boarded the bus with 2 girls sitting at the last row.
They were chatting and I heard one of them say that she was approached by a bank promoter asking her to apply a credit card.
The problem was?
She was only 13 (or so she says).

PS to Ami: we should be really, really glad =P

La Senza Semi Annual Sale!

Sale now on!
Time to stock up!!

2nd round of F21.

This time round, no more guilt free as I spent my own moolah.
Anyway, headed to F21 at Somerset to exchange the lace black cami (lace spoil..tsk tsk never check) and also the Olive tube top as it was a little loose and looked weird on me (tsk tsk..never try).
After browsing the 5 storeys, literally everything I liked was out of S sizes!!!!
Worse, the S sizes of those others that I liked was too big!!!
!%#@!@# what's wrong with their sizing nowadays????

Lucky I found the cami in M size - 1 down.
Continued browsing and I found some stuff after 1 hour!!

I think this is brownish-green (Yong says Khaki but I don't trust him).
Details 3/4 pants with rubber endings.
S$55 damage but I love this to bits.
Good for work and weekends!
And, its XS!

I think this is called butterfly sleeved top.
In grey and S$33.
Great for lazy days (which happens quite often).

Pardon my toes.
This dress...Ami was looking at something similar that had details on the hips last week when we went for lunch.
I told her it makes people hips look larger.
But Ami, you can try this from F21, the details on the hips not as flamboyant.
Since the material is figure hugging, it won't stand out so much also.
S$33 k?

Ok, back to clearing my wardrobe of BKK clothes first.

Majolica VS Canmake Eyeshadow Palette.

After the Japan trip, I was a little hooked onto their drugstore brands like MM, Canmake, KATE etc.
Was looking for a palette that had a cream base with brown or earth shades.
Basically due to the fact that I had too many colors from my MAC pigments (browns included) and I wanted a change for work.
Ok, fine I'm lazy and brown's always safe!!!

So, I am comparing 2 palettes here.
MM's Majolook and Canmake's Perfect Brown Eyes Palette.
MM's palette can be found at most Watsons and retails at S$24.90 (I think).
Canmake's palette is a new LE launch and only found at certain Watsons.
I found it at Bugis & Vivo.
Retails at S$24.90.
Canmake's one has 20% off and I think MM's one has too for GSS now.
So here comes the pros and cons after I used it.
Since prices are almost the same, that should be on equal standing.
I got the BR355 which is a staple at all counters.
I found the cream shadow too glittery and it doesn't really hold the colors well.
After 3-4 hours, the shadows fall onto my cheek and so does the glitter.
Amy can vouch for this as I used it on our BKK trip last month.
I did not use any other base with the cream but usually it doesn't fall out as much as MM.
However, the brown shadows are really pretty by itself without the cream.
The applicator is sponge on both sides but I use my own brushes. =)
FYI, this is really, really shimmery with loads of GLITTER in the cream base.
I think this has 6 different palettes with the colors really varying.
But I won't consider getting another one.
The Canmake palette on the other hand is probably LE and not all Watsons have them.
I had a little problem looking for it actually = frustrating.
I tried Bishan and TPY but both had none.
So it was Bugis and Vivo. I think the major town Watsons should have it.
I bought the deep brown (first from bottom in the photo).
The cream base was brown in all palettes which made is really easy to put on.
I only used the 2 browns as I haven't had the chance to use the black yet.
Maybe cause I am tanned, the color looks natural on me with a little shimmer.
I have to say that the fallout is lesser than MM's palette and this is not as glittery too.
Applicator is a small brush on one side and a sponge tip on the other.
Got this for S$19.90 but I feel that the colors are repeated in all 3 palettes (different combination) so no need to get all 3.

If given a choice to only get 1, I'll get the canmake one.
Reason being it's LE (no la).
Main reason is due to lesser fallout.
It can be really irritating when your whole cheeks are glittery after 3-4 hours.
