Accomplishments!

It's Sunday! Tomorrow's another workday... I haven't really been updating my blog as frequently as I've used to. The reason being that I've been really busy with the house, the wedding and work.

Friday night was dedicated to Amos, our photographer for the outdoor and actual day. He's given us a very different perspective of our outdoor shoot so I can't wait to embark on it 2 weeks later! Oh, he has a cat and a dog that can live together. Though I think the cat's smarter than the dog. Oh well. First, I will need to work out the makeup and hair schedules with Cherry. Then, I will probably need to get permission for some of the places that we want to get the photo-shots done.
Saturday, we woke up bright and early for an appointment with the card printers. I was so cheesed! Although we made an appt for 930am, it seemed useless. There was only 1 person working and 3 customers to serve! The cards that were free were also damn obiang! Not like those that Cornelius showed us! Anyway, I didn't want to spend extra money on the cards so I made Yong make all the decisions. Not easy!haha...
Cam-whoring on my way to the printer....

While Yong was trying to figure the way there...He was complaining that I should be taking his photo and not mine!

After the session with the printers, we went back to our new home. This was for the 'dong tu' ceremony to prepare for the renovation that will be starting soon! Yay, we're both quite excited about it although it really costs a bomb...a sneak peak at my new house...

After this, it was off to our next appt, to collect my cheong sam for the wedding. Well, so far I've been getting pretty good comments on the cheong sam that Mama & Misse made. My pink Thai Silk qi pao. I am really in love with it too but I think I might need to loosen it after the wedding if i'm going to wear it for CNYs. I can't sit with the qipao!!! I will post them after my photoshoot.

Next stop, to confirm the interior designer house for our home. We've decided to use Ideal Home - Johnson and Ivette. Will update on this once the reno starts.

It was off to town - to sign up for my Shape run and to get Yong's shoes for the photoshoot. Didn't manage to sign up for the run as there was a queue and the goodie bag was all redeemed. Doesn't make a difference if I sign up at home then. Yong managed to get his shoes from Zara. Half way back, he wanted to get a belt..another shopping trip!

We really needed to wind down at night so we went to Clarke Quay! For a drink and also to meet up with some of Yong's buddies whom we haven't met for quite a long time...

First up, Lunar with Lionel...

me!

Lionel and me!

Yong & me!

I was really swaku because it's my first time at Lunar. I only recognise the place for the various wedding photos that used this place as a back-drop. Above photo were the ladies that did pole dancing as one of the entertainment. There was also a live band there. Overall, it was alright but the alcohol wasn't really cheap..1 jug of beer was S$42..
After that, we went to Zirca to meet Quek and Lionel joined us later. Also my first time into Zirca. Yay, very swaku le.

The lift that stops at every floor is ready!! Yay!! I have 1 lift that stops at my floor after 20 years! I didn't even know if was functioning last night until yong told me. I find that its smaller than the old lift but who cares..It stops at my floor!!

To R&R today, I went for a Lulur scrub cum massage..yong went for a massage. Both lasted for 1.5 hours. So relaxed now that I want to go back to sleep...

TGIF!

Yea..its Friday again! Feeling tired today and not in the mood to do any 'real' work. However, I've got another busy Friday and Saturday coming up...

Tonight, Yong and I will be meeting up with Amos to discuss on our outdoor shoot 2 weeks away.

Tomorrow, will need to go to the card printer in the am. Thereafter, I need to go down to Wisma to sign up for the Shape Run with Siti. Hopefully, we can do lunch. After that, we need to go to the ID for the final quote and confirmation. Off to the new house to 'dong tu' to prepare the house for the renovation coming up. Lastly, I need to go to pick up my qi pao. So that's that for Saturday.

Sunday there's no tentative plans but I think (and hope) I can just nua at home...seriously, I think the chance of being able to do that is close to ZERO. haha....

My outfit today.

I am totally in love with the purple babydoll that I got from Taipei's night market for a mere 100ntd (that's about S$4)! If they had other colors, I think I'd grab them all!

Golden Mile....

I've always been told I look Thai but today..I think it has been really confirmed..Met Remy, Soh and his Thai GF at Golden Mile for dinner. Remy came back from his overseas assignment and since he's flying off in May, we met up for dinner. I have to say the thai steamboat wasn't spicy at all and it was pretty good. Reminds me of the time Warura and Apple brought me to the roadside to eat the soup in the pot (I have no idea what its called) I really miss the non-spicy food there! OH! Soh's Thai GF is like really pretty! I REALLY REALLY THINK SHE'S PRETTY! Too bad no photos....anyway..we went to the Thai Disco and it was really an eye-opener for me..haha...left after 2 drinks as I have work to do....oh...Remy can speak Thai..OMG!!! He can converse with the thai girls..hahahah...I think people probably think he's thai too...I never knew for the past 9 years that he could! Now I am wondering if he could speak thai 9 years ago.....
Well, on to another topic, as promised..the photos from the birthday celebration last week...

The Gang...

The Gang Again..I realised after 1 dragonboat session..I got real tanned!

Past week.

Its been 1 full week since I last updated my blog. Reason? Too many stuff and I fell sick..

Last Wed, I met up with Melissa, Biyu, Zhenli, Dor and Shuzhen for dinner at Suntec to celebrate Biyu's birthday. I also asked them to be my jie mei for the morning session. Still waiting for the photos from Dorothy..but I went for facial prior to meeting them so my face was not at its greatest condition. Oh! We or rather Serena saw us while we were waiting for the green man!! It was so coincidental I tell you. We did take some photos with her as well. Will load them when I get them.

Sunday afternoon, Yong and I went to Suntec to walk around after meeting with one of our shortlisted home decor company. We saw - gathering of Larmboghini-s!!! No fancy parking or body art or mass meetup..this was only 15-20 cars..it garnered a huge crowd and the owners were standing on the other side of the road drinking beer.

Today was our second HDB appointment to get our keys. We reached HDB Hub after my blood test and lunch at AMK. Since we were early, we went to have coffee..my expensive coffee..hahaha...

After we came home..grabbed both dogs to take photos..hahah....

I am so tired from the past weekend.....

The Competitve One vs the Princess.

Ami and I met at J8 and came home together today. So, that allowed us to have some quality time with Roxy and Buffy.

We decided to test their wits and see what competition will do to the dogs..

Well, there's the competitve bit that made Buffy really smart and we can see Roxy being a tad bit 'dumb' when it comes to finding food..let's just say she's the princess la...Enjoy!

Aching and Tired..

True to my words, I finally went for my dragonboat training today.

Well, its much tougher than I remember it to be. Compared to Poly days. Rowing is not a problem. Running and the static weights are! I guess I'm old..haha

The good news is...people think I am only in my late teens..that's made me happy for today.

The team really worked hard at the training session today. Its scary!

Anyway, some of us went back to TP's sports complex to bath...The last I remember of this place was that it was clean..This visit...eh..I take it back...still usable but the smell and the flooding toilets..I think TP mgt should do something about it..Going back to the sports complex brought back tonnes of memories..the camps, trainings, dragonboat team, BSC, SU...everything..

Sometimes, I find it really good to go back to places that holds memories for me as it reminds me how I got to be where I am today. Part of my roots....

March Buys!

This morning at 10am, my doorbell rang..I thought it was Yong..eh..nope..it was my other best friend..the POSTMAN! hahaha...my remaining loots from my March sprees were here...

First up, Old Navy! There was a 30% code last month for 1 day only and I had a 10% code from my previous spree so tadah...Ami and I did a last minute buying frenzy...
2 kids school pants that I can wear to work, 1 knitted white zip hoodie, 2 bras (my first from ON), 1 green crochet petite top and the last grey top was from Ami. Total damage - S$83 with shipping.

2 threadless tees since they were on sale last month. 1 was going at USD5 and the other at USD10. Total Damage - S$29.
My Drugstore and Taiwan Payeasy spree came earlier this week..
I got from Drugstore the Revlon Creme Shadow, Phisoderm, Halls sweets and a Neutrogena mask that spilt in transit (DS have issued me a refund after I took a photo and sent them an email). Total Damage - S$28.

As for my Taiwan Payeasy spree..I am totally in love with Kevin's BeautyMaker series...so I got a couple of items this time..the aqua trans powder, trans foundation shakeup and the light primer. Total Damage - S$70

Oh, there was also the Everyday Minerals Spree that I bought a Kabuki Long handled brush and the Eyeshadow brush (which I am selling off). Total Damage - S$18

I know this is crazy but I shipped Loew-Cornell painting brushes from US as well. Reason? The rave that these are comparable to MAC brushes!! Yes...1 MAC brush can easily cost over S$40 and more. these brushes are a fraction of the prices...Nonetheless, I'm selling off the 2 mop brushes on the left as I find them too huge for my face. These are all natural hair (goat, pony etc) and the smaller ones really feel and look like the MAC brushes such as my 239. Also, I find their handles a tad too long but for the price..its ok.. Total Damage - S$64 (i think i can only get 1 MAC brush for this price)

If you think that's all...erhm..sorry to disappoint..I've got my Jill Stuart that I'll be collecting tomorrow. 1 perfume, 2 eye jelly and 1 makeup base. Total Damage - S$190

The experience and thrill of getting my stuff - Priceless!

Yeap, this is the reason why I am so bloody broke this month...need to eat grass till 30th April!

Note: Ami, I think you spent as much as me eh...hehehe....
Note: Yong, your 4 threadless tees are also here!
