Taiwan Magazines.

Diana (my cousin) notified me last week that Nu Ren Wo Zhui Da (S$12.64) was out in Taiwan.
So I headed to Kino. It's been quite some time I last bought any magazines or mooks.
Nothing from Japan really caught my fancy.

This time, something else did.
July's issue of Taiwan's Marie Claire.
It came with 2 free samples.

8.9ml Smashbox Photo Finish.

50ml Avene Thermal Spring Water.
These 2 items make the S$15.04 magazine really a bargain buy.
FYI, Bugis Kino is closed for renovation.

Beautiful Sunday.

*Am typing this up while watching the WC finals with Yong.*

Since my weekdays are mainly for work, last weekend was another very rewarding one that was spent with many loved ones.
Saturday was spent with Cheryl & Nigel and some of my Secondary school sisters.
Sunday was spent with Yong and his family.
These are probably the quality times that must be cherished as individual lives get busier.

Headed to collect my long overdue glasses from Bryan and then headed to pick up my mil & Lerjun for some lunch at Bras Basah's Jack's Place on Sunday.
Although it was after 2, the service was horribly slow!
After lunch, we headed to Bugis (Melissa reccomended a SC that sells 'cheaper' watches) to get a replacement watch for Yong as his Polar was fogging up and his Timex belt was cracking.
Suntec was up next for some R&R and obviously Yong wanted to ead to Paulaner for a beer (Happy Hour one-for-one =X).

Yong wearing my new glasses.
Looks good on him =)

0.5 pint X 2 for Yong.

His new Timex Ironman (20% off the normal SP).

I bought 2 Casio-s!
The perfect Xmas pressie this year for some friends.
No warranty though, so I shall test it out first and see it's durability.
Not expecting much but let's see.
*Will update if/when it sp_ _ _ls..CHOI*

Project MAMBA.

The word 'Project Mamba' has been causing me some distress recently.
So, I've decided to come out with my own Project Mamba!

When I shifted house last year, I literally simply shifted the stuff from my room to my new house.
My new wardrobe is much deeper than my old one and my makeup was overflowing the old stacking unit.
Time to revamp my beauty 'wardrobe'!!

First stop - Muji.
Original state of my beauty wardrobe.
Most of the stuff came from my old room but this wardrobe was deeper and alot of space behind was wasted =P
Pretty messy cause most of the stuff I received over the weekdays were just dumped in whatever space available.

Tadah!
There's actually another small 2 tier clear acrylic drawer now on top of the plastic drawers to hold my pigments.
Wee~so proud of myself!

PS: this means a little more space to get a little more skincare products =)

Lemmings...

As usual, I've got some lemmings.
This time it's cosmetics!

After reading Haru's post on the UDPP in Sin, I headed to Sephora to test it out.
I love the color it gives by itself but the texture is slightly thicker than the Jill Stuart jelly eye shadow.
Staying power is great! After 10 hours (and a shower) I can still see shimmers on the tested area.

However, I was also sold on MUFE's aqua cream from fuzkittie's post and Sarah's review on the creams that I bought the aqua cream in #13 instead. This was the most expensive haul for this month (other then the storage units from Muji for Project Mamba - next post) at S$42. It wasn't far off the UDPP price.

I got the Hada Labo lotion, 2 Kate palettes and Kate concealer from Watsons on the same day.
Late last month, I got the MM Rouge Majex in BE205 because the earth tone was alluring.
I guess I'm going back to earth tone makeup due to laziness?

Some other stuff in my list (like to get) will be the UDPP in Sin, JS Summer launch eye jellies and the powder blusher(s), Inouvi brush cleaner, more aqua creams (maybe)...

P.S.: there's a advert in Friday's edition of Today by Shu Uemura - they are giving out samples of their best selling cleansing oil at all counters. Go grab yours! While stocks last.

SHAPE Run Race Pack Collection.

Promised to meet Cheryl for lunch during the Race Pack Collection day for the SHAPE run.
So I headed down to Marina Square on Saturday to meet her. Nigel came to meet her after work too.
Collected my race pack and headed to the Biotherm booth to check out the promo sets advertised in the email I recieved and ended up buying.

The pink set consisted of a 50ml Biosource Hydra-Mineral Cleanser Softening Mousse, 125ml Aquasource Hydra-mineral lotion softening water, a 15ml Aquasource non stop oligo-thermal cream intense moisturization and a pink polka dot pouch.
Same goes for the green set.
Each set costs only S$39 =)
The rest of the items were freebies.
Satchel of the new skin perfection series and Homme moisturisers.

This is something I look forward to trying on the race day itself.
UV Supra D-tox - supposed to be non greasy, non shiny and non white.
50SPF/PA+++ Let's see how this works out 2 weeks later.

My race pack.

After lunch I headed to Orchard to run some errands.
I saw this:

Some sight!
Nigel was complaining about the road closure and such.
Didn't bother me since I took the MRT =X

What I wore - top from Uniqlo, shorts from Anf, belt from Mayuki.

My necklace - this means alot to me.
The 2 pendents and necklace was given to me by 3 different people.

FOTD.
Tried the Sugarbomb blusher - gives a very natural flushed look.
Pinkish glow that appears on my tanned face!!!!
Let's try it a couple times more.

Jill Stuart Fall Collection.

Thanks to rougedeluxe, I got to preview the Jill Stuart Fall collection!
I'm a huge fan of Jill Stuart's Eye Jelly!
And *drumroll* they will be coming out with 3 new shades!
I'm already in love with the Antique Chiffon color.
I've yet to open the trio lipgloss I got on way back from Japan earlier this year =X.

The focus of this collection?
The new loose powder blushers called Blush Blossoms!
Previously, Jill Stuart only had blush compacts so this is probably something I look forward to.
Best of all? Only 1 color is LE. =)
