I heard this on the TV last night and it was an excerpt of MM Lee's speech.
".... western view, you marry the woman you love and the eastern view is that you love the woman you marry.."
He try to merge the 2 views and it seems to be working out just fine...
My deepest condolences to MM Lee's family for the lost of a great wife, mother and grandmother.
