Yong's post birthday celebration.

Today was the day to visit the doctor for our rashes as well as to distribute the little gifts I brought back from Bali to my sisters and mum (it was really little..).

Anyway, we decided to cook a simple dinner tonight since we've been pigging out in Bali. So it was the instant noodles that Yong specialises in. I was missing the mushroom dish that Ami makes so I tried to cook it..

A Really Simple Dinner.

Since Yong's birthday overlapped the Bali trip, I only managed to get him a slice of cheesecake from the Jap restuarant we had our dinner at. So today, I got him a cake from Four Leaves - aptly named 'Mr. Hero'. This was meant to be a Teachers' Day Cake but the size fits us nicely (so does the name). It's filled with chocolate mousse and hazelnut crunch. Really tastes great although it costs S$7.50! This is slightly bigger than a normal slice of cake.
